LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday granted a week’s time to the interior ministry to submit its reply about the disappearance of the heirs of Faheem and Faizan, two Pakistani nationals killed by the CIA agent Raymond Davis, DawnNews reported.

Justice Iftikhar Hussain Chaudhry, who heared the case, adjourned it till April 19.

A reply from the Law Minster Punjab, Rana Sana Ullah about heirs’ presence in Rawalpindi was submitted and the court was told that after getting the blood money, they were last seen with their counsel Raja Irshad, who should be inquired about it.

Advocate Malik Munsif Awan had filed the petition submitting that there were apprehensions that the families of the two Qartaba Chowk firing victims were forced to accept blood money for the release of Raymond Davis. He asked the court to summon the authorities and direct them to find the families.
