OKARA, Oct 14: A man reportedly slaughtered his wife, sister and niece over suspicionof loose morals with the helpof his friend late on Sunday night.

Dildar of Fatiana village was married to Kausar. Dildar’s divorced sister Niaz and niece Khalida were residing with him. He suspected all the three women of having loose morals. He beat up his wife and threw her out of his house. She went to the house of her cousin Ashiq. He reconciled with her and brought her back.

Dildar reportedly slit the throats of his wife Kausar and niece Khalida, who were sleeping in a room, open on Sunday night with the help of his friend Rashid. Niaz, meanwhile, saw them murdering the women and raised an alarm. But, the accused killed her too.

Police have registered a case on the report of Ashiq. No arrest has so far been reported.

Yasin and his family were asleep when two unidentified gunmen sneaked into the house. The family woke up to the noise created by the gunmen. They raised an alarm which unnerved them.

They opened indiscriminate fire on the family. Yasin’s wife was shielding her husband when a bullet hit her. She died on the spot.
