PESHAWAR, Nov 13: The NWFP Minister for Auqaf, Social Welfare, Religious and Minority Affairs, Qari Roohullah Madani, has emphasised the need of bringing the curriculum in line with the modern challenges, as only the result-oriented education can make students to play successful role in practical life.

Speaking at the meeting of the board of governors of Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre at Peshawar University on Tuesday, the minister expressed pleasure over introduction of computer classes in BA (Honours) courses of Arabic and Islamiat subjects and streamlining the research sectors of the centre. He termed it a good omen for national progress.

Earlier, the meeting took stock of academic and research projects of the centre in collaboration with Peshawar University and Shaikh Zayed Foundation and took many decisions in this respect.

Hafiz Abdul Ghafoor, director of Sheikh Zayed Islamic Centre.
