PESHAWAR, Oct 14: Provincial general secretary of the Pakistan People’s Party (Sherpao), women wing, Nasreen Khattak, has congratulated the newly-elected MNAs and MPAs of the party, and termed their victory a manifestation of the masses’ trust in the leadership of Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao.

In a statement issued here on Monday, she claimed that the PPP(S) had struggled for the rights of the people, and the election results were a vote of confidence from the people.

She also said the voters had endorsed the party policies by giving verdict in favour of the PPP(S) candidates.

The general secretary said the overwhelming public support to the PPP(S) could be gauged from the excellent performances of our candidates in the elections.

She expressed the hope that the elected representations would work for the development of the country and the rights of the masses. —APP
