HYDERABAD, March 31: Three students of a primary school were killed and two others were injured when a trailer overturned near Sekhat in Matiari district on Thursday.

The dead were identified as Murtaza, son of Baqar, Sher Mohammad, son of Mohammad Sarang, and Eedan, all Kalhoro by caste.

The injured were Imran, 12 and Allah Dino, 10, residents of Sher Khan Dhakhnoo.

After disembarking from a local bus, the children were crossing the road to go to the school when they a Sukkur-bound trailer hit them.

According to SHO Asghar Shah of Matiari police station, the trailer driver had applied brakes to save a vehicle and the trailer overturned in the process. —BoC
