NAWABSHAH, March 24: A taxi driver and a child have been suffered bullet wounds during firing in the air over the past week.

Jameel, 8, was hit by a bullet when he was in an engagement ceremony in a house near the Quaid-e-Awam University on Wednesday. The matter was reported to police, but no FIR was lodged till Thursday evening.

The taxi-driver, Javed Kumbhar, was hit by a stray bullet when he was in a marriage ceremony a few days ago.

SHOT DEAD: A man was shot dead in Azeem colony here on Thursday.

Aijaz Ali was in a shop when gunment fired at him. The body was taken to the PMC Hospital for autopsy.

Meanwhile, three men on a motorcycle were seriously injured when a speeding coach hit their bike on the National Highway near Sakrand..

They were identified as Hidayatullah, Ali Gohar and Mohammed Yousuf.

ROBBERY: A trader was robbed of cash and valuables here on Thursday.

Mohammed Ayoub Arain said robbers took away Rs500,000 cash and valuables when he was near the village of Barkat Arain at the Jam Sahab road.
