SDA supporters injured

DADU, Oct 12: Two supporters of Sindh Democratic Alliance leader Syed Jalal Mehmood Shah were injured in an armed attack at Chakar Khan Rajar village of Kotri taluka on Friday.

Five unidentified armed men attacked the house of Sarwar Rajar, a friend of Shah.

The armed men shot at and injured Sarwar and Saleh Rajar, who were rushed to the civil hospital, Hyderabad, in a serious condition.

Anwar Ali, the relative of Sarwar, while talking to newsmen here at the Dadu Press Club, said that the supporters of People’s Party Parliamentarians candidate from PS-71 Ghulam Nabi Shoro attacked the house of Sarwar and injured the two persons.

When contacted on telephone, Shoro, who had secured the seat according to the unofficial results, denied the involvement of his supporter or the PPP workers in the incident.
