KASUR, March 20: Robbers deprived passengers of a van of gold, cash and other valuables at gunpoint near Changa Manga forest on late Saturday.

Reports said five unidentified robbers intercepted a van near Changa Manga forest's Block No 1, took the driver and passengers hostage and deprived them of gold, cash, cell phones etc.

In another hit, two robbers snatched Rs200,000, and a cell-phone from a motorcyclist, Shabir Ahmed, near Mustafabad bridge in the limits of Mustafabad police station.
