KARACHI, Oct 12: Dr Zafar Mehmood Khawar, Principal, Sindh Madressatul Islam, has reconstituted the prefect council of the institution.

Anwer Abro, head of the technical section has been nominated incharge of the PC, with Rashid Siddiqui, M. Ismail Hingoro, Zainul Arfeen Shah, Abdul Hafeez Qasmani, Naimat Waqasi, Afshan Bano, Azra Habib, Toot Khan, Qutab Ali Shah and Ghulam Ali Ramejo (all teachers) as members.

Mr Abro addressing over 1,800 students and teachers said the PC had a broad-based role, which needed support from students, teachers and administration of the institute. He said the PC would concentrate on quality education and character-building of students, who mostly hail from lower, lower-middle and middle class families.—PPI
