KARACHI: The chief of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday recorded his statement in the Khanani and Kalia case in the Sindh High Court.

After the hearing, Waseem Ahmed refused to share the information about the case with the media and said his statement recorded in the court was confidential and responsible.

Ahmed had alleged that the exoneration of suspects in the case was questionable and that “a large sum of money” was used for the exoneration.

The Supreme Court took notice of the allegation and ordered the Chief Justice Sindh High Court to probe the matter and submit a report in seven days.
