KARACHI, Oct 10: A two-member team of the European Union Election Observation Mission visited 10 polling stations on Thursday in Karachi.

The team consisted of long-term observer Ms Marian Kelliher (Ireland) and short-term observer Dr Berthrd Kuhn (Germany). The team also witnessed the process of counting of votes at the D.J. Government Science College. However, the team members declined to give their impressions or assessment.

Dr Berthrd Kuhn said that there were four short-term observers in Karachi.

Ms Marian Kelliher said that the head of the mission would give his impressions probably on October 12.—APP
