KARACHI: 12 vehicles hijacked

KARACHI, Oct 10: Twelve vehicles — three cars and nine motorcycles — were either hijacked or stolen in the city on Thursday, police said.

The cars were hijacked. Four motorcycles were hijacked. Five others were stolen.

Police also claimed on Thursday to have recovered two vehicles (T-6715 and KAS-9259) in the city.

ACCIDENT: A motorcyclist died in a road accident on Mauripur Road.

Police said an unidentified man died when the motorcycle (KAR-3359) he was driving collided with a speeding truck (LH-3491). The man died on the spot. His body was sent to Civil Hospital for post-mortem.
