LAHORE, Oct 9: A girl was stabbed allegedly by her brother in Nishat Colony in South Cantonment on Wednesday.
Lubna Bibi, 19, of Kasur eloped with Ali Mansha of her village and married him one month ago. Her family got registered a kidnap case against Mansha.
Lubna contacted her aunt in Nishat Colony for a reconciliation with her family. Her aunt invited her to her home. She, however, informed Lubna’s family when she visited her on Wednesday. Lubna’s brother Karamat Ali reached the Nishat Colony house and stabbed her. She died instantly.
Later, the accused produced himself before the police.
The body has been sent to the city mortuary for autopsy.
