LAHORE: Punjab Governor Latif Khosa on Monday signed a summary sent by the chief minister Punjab to dismiss ministers belonging to the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) from the provincial cabinet, DawnNews reported.
Shahbaz Sharif sent the summary to the governor on Saturday.
After the governor’s signature, the seven PPP ministers, Raja Riaz, Tanveer Kaira, Neelam Jabbar, Ashraf Sohna, Tanveer Rana, Haji Ishaq and Farooq Yousuf Ghotki, were no longer part of the Punjab cabinet.
President Asif Zardari directed the Punjab governor to sign the summary.
