ISLAMABAD: Synott meets Leghari

ISLAMABAD Oct 5: The British High Commissioner in Islamabad, Hilary Synott, met the president of Millat Party, Farooq Ahmed Khan Leghari, at the latter’s residence here on Saturday.

He was accompanied by Mathew Gold, the political secretary at the High Commission.

They discussed the pre and post election scenario emerging in the country.

Mr Leghari stressed the need for cooperation between Pakistan and the West in retrieving the looted wealth of the third world countries.

The secretary-general of Millat Party and national alliance, Mohammad Ali Durrani, the assistant secretary-general of Millat Party, Ayla Malik, and Raja Shoaib Adil were also present during the meeting.
