NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Oct 3: Two persons were killed and four injured in a accident on the National Highway some 4km from Moro on Thursday.

A Karachi-bound Al-Mecca coach (ASI-4834), coming from Mansehra, hit a truck (LSI-6096) while overtaking it.

As a result the truck driver, Mohammad Asif Tanoli of Mansehra, and a businessmen, Ali Anwar Katwar, died on the spot. Hameed Gujjar of Karachi, Pir Khan Sangi and Mohammad Jumman Jatoi of Pano Aqil and Rasheed of Mansehra were seriously injured.

Those injured were admitted to the civil hospital, Naushahro Feroze, and the taluka hospital, Moro, while the bodies of the deceased men were sent to their villages.

An FIR was lodged with the Moro police.

WOMAN KILLED: A woman was stabbed to death by her husband in Mohammad Moosa village near here on Wednesday.

Sharif had sent his wife to her parents’ house on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he went to his in-laws’ house where he stabbed her to death with a knife.

The motive of the murder is reported to be the deceased’s refusal to demand her share in her parents’ property.

The Naushahro Feroze police have registered a murder case against Sharif.
