CPNE body meeting today

KARACHI, Oct 3: The standing committee of the Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) will meet at a hotel at 4pm here on Friday.

The agenda of the meeting, to be presided over by CPNE President Mujibur Rahman Shami, includes discussion on the government-press relations and the council’s stand on the recently-adopted legislations by the federal cabinet, affecting the print media.

CPNE General-Secretary Mahmudul Aziz has called upon all members of the standing committee to attend the meeting.
