KHAIRPUR, Oct 2: Scores of residents of Priyaloi, Kingri taluka, continued their protest against the unscheduled loadshedding in Priyaloi and its outskirts here on Wednesday.

The protesters took out a procession and raised slogans against the Hesco officials.

Talking to newsmen, their representatives said the power supply to Priyaloi, Kot Mir Mohammad, Ulra Jagir, Gari Mori, Faiz Wah and other villages remained suspended for 20 hours.

Meanwhile, the residents of Saghiyoon, taluka Sobhodero, observed a shutter down strike for three hours against the unscheduled load- shedding on Wednesday.

The protesters also burnt tyres and blocked the road for few hours.

Later, they also observed a token hunger strike.

DIED: A school teacher, Khursheed Mangrio, who was injured in an armed attack, succumbed to injuries here on Wednesday.

The Pir Jo Goth town remained closed to mourn his death.

He was injured two days back in an attack by some unidentified armed men on his way to school.

He died on Tuesday night at the CMC hospital, Larkana.

His body was brought to Pir Jo Goth.

Hundreds of students and teachers of Kingri taluka took out a procession to mourn his death.

Later, the protesters observed a sit-in, in front of the local police station.
