HYDERABAD, Oct 2: The decomposed body of a woman was found in Dastagir Colony, Unit No11 Latifabad, on Tuesday.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the woman, Khursheed, d/o Faiz Mohammad Abbasi, was married to one Shabbir Hussain, a street vendor, some six months back.

Soon after marriage some differences arose between the husband and wife.

Residents of the area told this correspondent that Shabbir Hussain used to lock the main door of his house from outside before leaving for work.

When the owner of the house did not receive the rent, he approached the area councillor, Khalid. The latter reported the matter to the A-section police.

The SHO, A-section police station, Javed Shaikh, along with the union council, Nazim Naseeruddin Humayun, broke open the lock and found the decomposed body.

Residents believed that Shabbir had killed his wife and had escaped.

GUNNED DOWN: A man, Mushtaq Ahmed (35), was gunned down near Unit No4 Latifabad by unidentified men due to an old enmity.
