SUKKUR: Three killed in clash

SUKKUR, Sept 30: Three people, two of whom were brothers, were killed and 10 others injured in an clash between two groups of Jatoi tribesmen near Saeedabad, 20kms from Sukkur, on Monday.

One group was led by Mohammad Hassan Jatoi, while the other was led by Hamal Jatoi. First both started arguing; then they took out their arms and started firing on one another as a result of which Hazaro Jatoi, Hameed Jatoi and Jamal Jatoi (both brothers) were killed on the spot and 10 others injured.

All the injured were taken to the Civil Hospital, Sukkur.

The police said that the clash started over possession of a piece of farmland, which both the parties claimed to be theirs.

The police said that the two brothers belonged to the Hamal Jatoi group, while Hazaro Jatoi belonged to the Mohammad Hassan Jatoi group.
