KARACHI, Sept 27: Karachi University has invited applications for the award of the University Research Fellowship from those who are enrolled as M.Phil or Ph.D students in the Faculties of Arts, Science, Pharmacy and Islamic Studies.

A stipend of Rs900 per month for M.Phil and Rs1200 per month for Ph.D will be given. Selection will be made on the basis of merit and research capabilities and will be finalized by the research fellowship committee.

MEETING: A meeting on Friday, presided over by Dr Nasreen Aslam Shah, Associate Professor, Department of Social Work reviewed the recent situations on campus and decided KU teachers should resolve their grievances through dialogue rather than agitation.

The meeting condemned the incident of Sept 7.

PEACE SEMINAR: Chairperson, Karachi Women’s Peace Committee Ms Nargis Rehman will deliver her keynote address on peace at a seminar at KU on Saturday, Sept 28.
