Results of first round of LCCI polls

LAHORE, Sept 24: The Founder-PIAF alliance won three out of four chamber class seats of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the first round of its elections held here Tuesday.

The Founders Group managed to win only one seat.

Those elected included Founder-PIAF alliance’s Pervez Anwar Sheikh (376 votes), Sohail Lashari (340 votes), and Khalid Rafiq (343 votes) and Founder Group’s Dr Shehla Javed Akram (366 votes).

As many as 674 out of 928 voters polled their votes.

The election for four associate class seats will be held on Wednesday (today).
