ATTOCK, Nov 30: A little quarrel between two teenaged brothers in a Hazro tehsil village ended in the younger brother shooting dead the elder one for slapping him, police said on Tuesday.

Anwar Baig of Nartupa village reported to the police that his two sons - Ghulam Sarwar, 18, and Saddam Hussain, 16 – got into a quarrel on Sunday evening over a minor issue.

Unfortunately, the quarrel turned into a tragedy when Sarwar slapped his younger brother who was so enraged that he drew out a pistol and fired at him.

As the shocked family got busy with rushing the seriously injured elder brother to a hospital, the assailant fled. Sarwar died on the way to hospital.

Hazro police have registered a murder case against the accused and are investigating.
