A senior official at the Board said the decision was taken at a meeting of the Board recently. The change - both for first and second year classes in all faculties - will be affected in phases.

The papers would comprise three parts dealing separately with the objective, short and descriptive questions.

Model questions of the first year science faculties would be issued in due course of time.

INTER RESULTS: The Board will announce the results of Higher Secondary Certificate part-II humanities (regular) and commerce part II (private) on Sept 26.

The remaining results of part-II examinations will also be announced during the month, while that of the first year would be released in October.
