ISLAMABAD: Art dialogue on 15th

ISLAMABAD, Nov 11: The second programme in connection with PNCA’s lecture series, the Dialogue on Art, will be held on November 15 at National Art Gallery at 3:30 pm. Aslam Azhar will speak on the occasion.

According to the officials of Pakistan National Council of the Arts, the dialogue will be held every month as a regular feature.

PNCA DG, Raja Changez Sultan said that the dialogue was the only  way  to  resolve  confusion and pave the way for better understanding of the issues relating to the art. He said that his organization had realized its duty to create harmony amongst the intellectuals on matters relating to art.

Meanwhile, PNCA has also decided to hold an exclusive evening with the living legend of the classical music Ustad Feteh Ali Khan of Patyala school of music on November 13 at 7:00 pm at the ground floor of the National Art Gallery, 77, St.48, F- 7/4, Islamabad.

Khalid A. Mirza, the Chairman of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan will be the chief guest on this occasion.

68-year-old Ustad Feteh Ali Khan was awarded Tamgha-e- Khidmat in 1966. He was also awarded Pride of Performance in 1972. This was followed by Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 1997.
