HYDERABAD, Sept 21: An aircraft of the Edhi Air Ambulance made a crash landing at Hyderabad airport here late Friday evening after its landing gear failed to open.

The plane, flown by the chief pilot of Edhi Air Ambulances, Col Syed Sajid Ali, arrived here at about noon with three volunteers from Edhi Foundation’s UK chapter Nadir Ali and Mrs Nadir Ali and Farhan on a routine flight.

The aircraft took off again for an aerial tour for the visiting volunteers along with the chief pilot. However, the pilot was forced to make a crash landing after the aircraft’s landing gear developed a fault on its return.
