HYDERABAD, Sept 21: A group of human rights activists staged a rally outside the press club here on Saturday to commemorate the International Peace Day.

The rally was organized under the banner of the Commission for Justice and Peace, HRCP, Sindh, Development Society, National Alliance for Joint Electorate and other organizations.

The participants of the rally raised slogans of “we want peace”.

Speaking on the occasion, Phillip Hira, Joseph, M. Perkash, S. Lal Ahuja and others condemned terrorism, lawlessness and human rights violations.

They also urged the United Nations and the international community to strive for peace and save the humanity from destruction.
