LAHORE, Nov 10: Punjab University Law College, College of Home Economics, Government Degree College, Ravi Road and the host Kinnaird College entered the semi-final of the Punjab University Inter-collegiate Lahore zone women table tennis

championship on opening day Saturday.

The semi-final and the final will be held on Monday.

In all, eight matches were decided on the first day the results of which are as follows

Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore beat Government College, Sheikhpura 2-0; Punjab University Law College beat Government College, Gulberg Lahore 2-0; Fatima Jinnah Medical College, Lahore beat Punjab University Teaching Department 2-0; Government College, Samanabad beat Islamia College, Lahore Cantt 2-0; College of Home Economics, Lahore beat Government College, Kot Khawaja Saeed, 2-0; Punjab University Law College beat Fatima Jinnah Medical College, 2-0; Kinnaird College beat Government College, Samanabad, 2-0.

Semifinal schedule for Monday:

Law College vs College of Home Economics. Kinnaird College vs Government Degree College, Ravi Road.
