SIALKOT, Nov 6: A local court has granted a three-day physical remand of three human traffickers to the FIA on Saturday.

Senior FIA officials said that Daska-based human trafficker Riasat Ali had extorted Rs1 million from Farooq Ahmad for sending him to Spain besides provide him a lucrative job there. Farooq was arrested in Spain and was deported to Pakistan after completing one year jail term. Later, Farooq also gave Rs0.3 million to Riasat Ali for sending him to Dubai from where he was again deported.

Meanwhile, the court also granted a three-day physical remand of Sialkot- based human trafficker Shehzad Butt to FIA for recovering Rs0.5 million and 2,900 dollars from him.

Similarly, the court also granted a three-day physical remand of another human trafficker Amanullah to the FIA for recovering Rs2.5 million from him which he had extorted from three youths, Aamir Sajjad, Mehmood Abbas and Muhammad Qaisar for sending them to Greece.

The FIA will again produce the accused before court on Nov 8. HAJ FLIGHTS:

Haj flights operation from Sialkot to Saudi Arabia was completed as the last Haj flight (PK-1509) of PIA took off from Sialkot airport on Saturday.

At least 4,212 male and female pilgrims have reached Saudi Arabia from the Sialkot airport in 10 special Haj flights.
