Students hold demo

TIMERGARA, Nov 2: The Peoples Students Federation, Lower Dir, on Tuesday demanded of the government to immediately transfer principal of the postgraduate college Timergara and SHO of the Balambat police station.

Speaking at a news conference here president of PSF Shahab Utmani alleged principal of the Timergara college had been involved in student politics.

He said police used batons against peaceful students when they protested against the college's principal and also were mistreated by Dir Scouts personnel when they gathered outside DCO office to voice their concerns. — Correspondent

He said, five PSF workers sustained injuries when police charged them with sticks and stones. Earlier students marched from the college to Balambat, chanting slogans against the college principal and police.
