64 aspirants in field in Abbottabad

ABBOTTABAD, Sept 17: A total of 64 candidates are contesting for the two national and five provincial assembly seats in the Abbottabad district.

According to the assistant election commissioner of Abbottabad district, 15 candidates were vying for the National Assembly seats, while 49 were in the run for the provincial assembly seats.

For NA-17, seven candidates are in the field.

They are: Malik Mohammad Asif (HQM), Al-Haj Habibur Rehman Abbasi (MMA), Amanullah Khan Jadoon (PML-QA), Dr Azhar Khan Jadoon (Independent), Sardar Ibrar Ahmed (PPP), Syed Ejaz Hussain Shah (Independent) and Ali Asghar Khan (QJP).

Eight candidates are contesting for NA-18. They are: Sardar Mohammad Yaqoob (PML-QA), Qari Syed Abdul Rahim Shah (MMA), Qazi Mohammad Azhar advocate (Millat Party), Abdul Ghaffar Javed (Independent), Mohammad Aurangzeb Chaudhry (PAT), Murtaza Abbasi (PML-N), Nawabzada Jehangir Saeed Tanoli (Independent) and Naveed Ashraf Abbasi (Independent).

For PF-44, the following candidates are in the run:

Raja Waqar Ahmed (PAT), Syed Ejaz Hussain Shah (Independent), Shamroz Khan Jadoon (PPP), Shamim Akbar Sami (QJP), Inayatullah Khan Jadoon (PML-N), Ghulam Mustafa Jadoon (Millat Party), Mohammad Dawood Khan (PTI), Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani (PML-QA) and Muzaffar Khan (MMA).

Nine candidates are contesting for PF-45. They are: Sardar Mumtaz Hussain Abbasi (PML-N), Abdur Rehman Abbasi (PML-Q), Abdul Wahab Qureshi (PAT), Mohammad Akram Abbasi (MMA), Sardar Ali Zaman Abbasi, Sardar Mohammad Habib Khan, Ghazanfar Ali Abbasi, Mohammad Abdul Jabbar Abbasi and Mehmood Ayaz Abbasi.

For PF-46 the following candidates are in the run:

Iftikhar Ahmed (PPP), Pir Khan Tanoli (MMA), Haji Ghulam Mustafa Khan Jadoon (Millat Party), Shahzad Ahmed Khan (PAT), Qaiser Zaman Afridi (PML-Q), Malik Manzoor Hussain advocate (PML-N), Mohammad Rizwan Qureshi (PML-J), Amanullah Khan, Aziz-ur-Rehman, Shaukat Ali Khan Tanoli and Haji Qalandar Khan Tanoli (Independent),

Seven candidates are contesting for PF-47.

They are: Sardar Aurangzeb Khan (PML-N), Nisar Safdar Khan (PML-QA), Mohammad Imran Khan (MMA), Gul Nawaz Khan (PPP), Shahzad Ahmed Khan (PAT), Azhar Mehmood Khan and Sikandar Azam Khan (Independent).

For PF-48 the following candidates are in the field: Ishtiaq Azam (PML-N), Haji Mohammad Iqbal (MMA), Sardar Khurshid (PPP), Sardar Mohammad Sabir (HQM), Naheed Abbasi (Millat Party), Naveed Ashraf Abbasi, Mehmood Hayat Abbasi, Mohammad Fareed Abbasi, Mohammad Amjad Abbasi, Sardar Shakeel Ahmed and Haq Nawaz Abbasi (Independent).
