BAHAWALPUR, Sept 16: Initial medical report of a boy in the tongue slashing case has found the injury self-inflicted.
The report was issued by the medical officer of the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital on Monday.
Yazman police on the report of the father of Abdul Quddus had registered a case against his teachers, including administrator of Rouzatul Aloom.
The SHO said the matter was still being investigated. He claimed that the boy’s father was not turning up for recording his statement.
Meanwhile, police arrested Qari Bashir Ahmad, one of the three suspects in the case.
