Haseeb blames management

KARACHI, Sept 14: Former chairman of national selection committee, Haseeb Ahsan has blamed national cricket team management for recent one-day defeats in Morocco, Kenya and Sri Lanka.

In an interview with PPI on Saturday, he held coach Mudassar Nazar and manager Yawar Saeed responsible for the defeats in the tournaments at Tangiers, Nairobi and Colombo.

Haseeb felt if any coach can not solve problems of wide balls, no balls and extra runs, he did not deserve to continue in the job.

Likewise manager Yawar Saeed was unable to resolve Yousuf Youhana’s dispute with captain Waqar Younis and was sent back home from Nairobi on disciplinary ground.

He opined that return of the team’s most reliable batsman was a sign of differences among the players and added that the team spirit was much effected due to the attitude of team management.
