ISLAMABAD, Sept 13: The Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Friday said the whole election exercise would become farce if the conclusive evidence of Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain’s bank loan default went unnoticed by the Election Commission.

“It is not an allegation but an irrefutable documentary evidence,” PTI Secretary-General Akber S. Baber told Dawn.

The evidence, just for the sake of record, would also be provided to the election observers of European Union and the team of National Democratic Institute of USA, he said.

If these documents were overlooked and the Chaudhrys of Gujrat, who were lynchpin of the pro-government Pakistan Muslim League (QA), were allowed to contest election, the polls would become doubtful, Mr Baber commented.

“It will become obvious that the government want to install a fake assembly through a fraudulent elections,” he added.
