PESHAWAR, Sept 13: District Nazim Mohammad Azam Khan Afridi said on Friday that the city government had completed many development programmes to provide health and education facilities to the people irrespective of their political affiliations.

Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of a private welfare medical centre, he said the city government had completed several development schemes in 13 months. He claimed that the past governments weren’t able to carry out so many schemes in 50 years.

He appreciated the people for their cooperation during the anti-encroachment drive and said the widening of the roads had solved  the problem of traffic congestion for the next 50 years.

He said the drive was being carried out without harassment of the stake-holders.
