PCB names officials for Lankan series

LAHORE, Sept 9: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has made the posting of umpires and referees for a home series to be held between Pakistan Junior and Sri Lankan ‘A’ team from Sept 14 to Oct 3.

 Sri Lankan ‘A’ team is arriving in Karachi on Sept 14 to play two four-day and three one-day matches in Pakistan.

Aleem Dar and Nadeem Ghauri are appointed umpires for the first four-dayer to be held at the Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, from Sept 17 to 20. Khateeb Rizwan is the referee.

Saleem Badar with Asad Rauf will be standing for the second four-day match scheduled to be staged at Multan Stadium, Multan, from Sept 23 to 26. Anwar Khan is the referee.

Saleem and Asad will also supervise the first one-dayer at the Multan Stadium with Anwar Khan as referee on Sept 28.

Siddique Khan and Afzaal Ahmed are named umpires for the second one-day match to be held at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad on Oct 1. Musaddaq Rasool is the referee.

Athar Zaidi and Mian Aslam will be the umpires for the final one-day match carded for Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Oct 3. Azhar Khan is the referee.
