20 injured in road accident

DADU, Sept 9: Twenty passengers were injured when a Mehar- bound pick-up overturned and fell into a ditch on Fareedabad-Mehar Bypass, near Mehar town, on Monday.

Eleven of the injured were identified as Mohammad Sodhar, Najamuddin, Awais Solangi, Ghulam Haider Khoso, Asif, Usman, Hassan, Allah Bux, Qurban Khoso, Najma and Sharifan.

The injured were admitted to the Mehar Taluka Hospital. The driver escaped and the Mehar police impounded the Datsun pick-up.

INJURED: Five persons were injured in a clash between two groups of shopkeepers over distribution of a piece of commercial plot in Kangri locality, Sehwan town, on Monday.
