SUKKUR, Sept 4: A Teghani tribesman was killed and five others were injured in an armed clash between the Teghani and Chachar tribes in the Katcha area of Pano Aqil on Tuesday night.

The DPO, Sukkur, Din Mohammad Baloch, went to the area and had a check-post set up.

He told this correspondent on the telephone that the Teghanis first attacked the village of the Chachars and stole 15 cattle heads. Later, the Chachars cordoned off the village of the Teghanis and opened fire as a result of which Mohammad Ali Teghani was killed and five others were injured.

It may be recalled that four Chachar tribesmen were killed about a month ago.
