Two die, seven hurt in road accident

NAWABSHAH, Sept 4: Two persons were killed and seven others were seriously injured when a speedy car dashed into a tree near Cheezalabad, Sanghar road, on Tuesday.

A speedy car (KAR-7688), due to reckless driving, rammed into a tree, resulting in injuries to 9 persons.

The injured were rushed to the Peoples Medical College Hospital, where Pathani Khatoon, 60, and a baby girl succumbed to injuries.

Man held: An attempt to deprive the bank of Rs600,000, was foiled at Qazi Ahmed on Tuesday.

One Muhammad Bux went to the Allied Bank, Qazi Ahmed branch and demanded Rs600,000, against a demand draft. When the manager of the Bank inquired the ABL Hyderabad for confirmation, he was informed that the draft was fake.
