PESHAWAR, Sept 3: Corps Commander, Lt Gen Ali Mohammad Jan Orakzai, visited sites of various development projects in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Fata) and inspected the quality and pace of work, here on Tuesday.

During the briefing, the Corps Commander was infor-med that these project were being completed on lesser coast than what was initially estimated.

Ali Mohammad Jan Orakzai lauded the efforts of Pakistan army for conserving  the resources without compromising on the quality.

“This will help us to initiate more development projects in the area,” he remarked.

Speaking at the tribal jirga in Orakzai Agency, he said that the Pakistan Army would ensure completion of the development projects on time and efforts would be made to initiate new development projects in health and education sectors.

“This area has vast potential for agriculture, forests and natural resources.

“The only need is to tap the available resources of the betterment of people from this area who are economically backward,” the Corps Commander said.
