Cotton training programme

KARACHI, Sept 3: For imparting knowledge on cotton classification to the TCP officials, the corporation has arranged training programme in collaboration with Pakistan Cotton Standards Institute (PCSI).

The training has been arranged at Pakistan Cotton Standards Institute, Karachi, and at Multan. The objective of this training is to let the officials and workers of the TCP know about cotton quality, its classification, preparation of standard boxes of cotton and checking other fibre characteristics of cotton through latest testing machines, including high volume instrument (HVI).

The TCP plans to impart such training to all its employees connected with procurement, classification, storage and payment relating to cotton procurement operation.
