Papers of five candidates accepted

BADIN, Aug 29: The returning officer for NA-225, Badin, on Thursday accepted all the five nomination papers fixed for scrutiny.

The nomination papers of Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim (SDA), Dr Fahmida Mirza (PPP), Abdul Sattar Sarewal, Raza Shah and Qazi Amjad Abid were accepted.

BF COMMITTEE: The District Benevolent Fund Committee has sanctioned and released Rs2.998 million under the heads of medical aids, marriage expenses, funeral expenses and family maintenances.

This was decided at a meeting of the committee held under the chairmanship of Badin DCO Ameer Bux Behan.
