NOWSHERA, Nov 8: The Zila Nazim of Nowshera, Pervez Khan Khattak, on Thursday said that ill-planning and undue interference in the government departments had crippled their working.

“Pressure of public representatives, nepotism and the indifference of government employees played havoc with all the departments, particularly health, education and police,” he told the inaugural ceremony of a free medical centre.

He said that an appropriate action was needed against doctors and teachers obtaining salaries without attending their duties.
