Four of a family die in roof collapse

QUETTA, Nov 8: Four members of a family were killed and two others injured when the roof of a mud house collapsed in Loralai on Thursday.

Informed sources told Dawn that wife of Abdullah Jan was sleeping in a room of the house along with her five children when the roof of the house collapsed. Abdullah’s four children were killed on the spot while his wife and a one-year-old son received serious injuries and were taken to Loralai Civil Hospital.

Abdullah Jan, who escaped unhurt as he was sleeping in the next room, pulled the bodies out of the debris with the help of neighbours and relatives. The victims have been identified as Hamida Bibi (15), Fareeda Bibi (2), Wazir Khan (12) and Gul Khan (7).
