KARACHI: City bus routes changed

KARACHI, Aug 25: The secretary, district regional transport authority Karachi has amended the routes of mini-buses in the city with immediate effect.

The alignment of mini-bus route “Y” will be Fleet Club to Shah Faisal Colony, Reta Plot via Iqbal Shaheed Road, Jet Lines, Nursery, Shahrea Faisal, Drigh Road Station, Natha Khan Goth, Colony Gate, Malir Halt, Malir City, Jamia Millia College, Millat Town, Shah Faisal Colony, No 3, 2, 1 and Reta Plot.

Mini-bus route No F-6 from Model Colony Qabrastan to Agra Taj Colony has also been amended. Now it will run via Abbasi Market, Model Colony, Level Crossing, Malir Tanki, Lal Masjid, Liaquat Market, Jinnah Square, Malir No 15, Qaidabad, Dawood Chowrangi, Landhi No 1, 6, Korangi No 6, 1, Qayyumabad, Akhtar Colony, Sunset Boulevard, Punjab Chowrangi, Cantonment Post Office, PIDC House, Moulvi Tameezuddin Khan Road, Tower, Jamaat Khana, Kharadar, Moosa Lane and Mirza Adam Khan Road.

Besides, Super Muslim Coach Service’s route has been amended, which is from Gulshan-i-Hadeed phase 1, 2, to New Mauripur. It will now ply via Gulshan-i-Hadeed phase 1, 2, Quaidabad, Dawood Chowrangi, Future Colony, Sharafi Goth, Murtaza Chowrangi, Chamra Chowrangi, Godown Chowrangi, Qayyumabad, Defence, Gol Masjid, Rio Cinema, Fawara Chowk, Shaheen Complex, I.I. Chundrigar Road, Police Head Office and Tower. Curtailing Keamari, it has been extended from Tower to Gulbai, New Mauripur.—APP
