KARACHI: ST chief calls on Pir Pagara

KARACHI, Aug 25: Chief of the Sunni Tehreek (ST), Maulana Mohammad Abbas Qadri, accompanied by his party’s central leader Maulana Iftikhar Ahmed Bhatti, called on the spiritual leader of the Hurs and chief of the PML(F), Pir Pagara, at Kingri House, said an ST statement on Saturday night.

The obtaining political situation was discussed in detail during the meeting.

The ST leaders apprised Pir Pagara of their party’s intention to participate in the October elections. Pir Pagara said that cooperation between the PML(F) and the ST would continue in future.—APP
