100 protesters arrested in Chundko

KHAIRPUR, Aug 24: The police baton-charged participants of a protest demonstration and arrested some 100 protestors in Chundko town on Saturday.

The activists of the Unemployed Youths Union had staged the demonstration against authorities concerned for not providing jobs to locals in gas fields .

They had also staged a sit-in and blocked the road.

NAZIM: Nazim, Sobhodero union council, Ms Noor Jehan Abbasi, and councillor, Mohammad Hassan Sahto, with some minor girls continued their protest on second consecutive day the other day against the Sobhodero police.
