PESHAWAR, Aug 24: The Islami Jamiat-i-Talaba has announced to launch a campaign against the recommendations made by the Task Force for teachers from Monday, a press release said on Saturday.

The IJT press release said these recommendations were made without keeping in view the wishes of the university teachers.

The IJT Nazim, Shahab Hussain, said professors and lecturers, who had been appointed under the contract system, were feeling insecure affecting the quality of education and the environment in universities.

He said the IJT and professors of the universities together tried to seek some changes in the recommendations for the universities but they were not listened.

The IJT and teachers of the universities have decided to run a campaign against these recommendations from Aug 26.
