ISLAMABAD: Rain lashes twin cities

ISLAMABAD, Aug 24: It rained in the twins cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad on Saturday morning.

The Met Office recorded 82mm of rainfall in Islamabad and 3mm in Rawalpindi.

The civil defence officials told this reporter that Rawalpindi had a mere trace of rain indeed.

According to weathermen, scattered rains are expected in Sindh and Punjab in the next three days. The experts said that the current wet spell in upper parts of the country was likely to continue.—Our Reporter
