She came in a procession from the Al-Murtaza House to the court along with party leaders and workers.

Advocates P.K. Shahani and Munir Ahmed Khuhawar were present in the court on her behalf while she was submitting the papers.

She had submitted her degree certificates equal to graduation, said Mr Shahani while talking to this correspondent, and added that it was up to the returning officer either to accept it or not.

Ali Akbar and Abdul Latif were the proposer and seconder, respectively.

The scrutiny of papers will be held on Aug 28.

JUI, MMA: Meanwhile, Dr Khalid Mehmood Soomro, general secretary of the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI), Sindh, and Hafiz Ahmed Ali Abbasi of the Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA), have separately filed their nomination papers for NA-204 seat.

It may be recalled that the nomination papers were filed by some PPP leaders on behalf of PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto for two NA seats on Thursday. She is also a candidate from the constituencies of NA-204 Larkana-I and NA-207 Larkana-IV.
